Can you tell when your cat is getting sick?
Tuesday, May 28, 2013
Having a basic understanding of what’s normal and not normal when it comes to what you see and feel on your cat can make all the difference in detecting illnesses at the very beginning, instead of after they are practically screaming at you for attention. That’s why we focused our latest episode, Examining Your Cat at Home, on teaching you how to tell whether everything about your cat is in tip-top shape. This episode is now available on demand, serving as a how-to guide for conducting a quick home exam on your kitties. With practice, we assure you that you’ll be able to do this in 5 minutes or less!
Now of course illnesses can start places that don’t manifest on the outside of your cat’s body, like in the thyroid, kidneys, pancreas, liver, etc. That doesn’t mean, though, that there aren’t ways to examine your cat for changes in these areas as well. Our next episode, which will be available starting Saturday, June 1, will teach you how to check whether your cat “looks good” internally too!
